President of Hajiganj city unit Syed Mahmud Shah Mozaddee submitted the nomination papers on behalf of Allama Syed Bahadur Shah Mojadeedi, candidate of Chandpur-5 (Hajiganj-Shaharchati) constituency.
On Monday, around 3pm Islamic Front Bangladesh leaders of Chandpur and Hajiganj-Shahrasti districts took part in good-chain outside the office of Returning Officer and Upazila Nirbahi Officer in the event of festivities during submission of the nomination form. Returning Officer Boishakhi Barua and Upazila Election Officer Abul Kashem accepted the nomination papers.
